FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Valencia Systems Selected by ADC Telecommunications for Management Technology Orlando, FL, July 17, 2000. — Valencia Systems Inc. announced today that it has been selected to provide key Network Management technology to ADC Telecommunications, (Nasdaq:ADCT) a leading global supplier of network equipment, software, and integration services for broadband and multiservice networks. Valencia Systems has created a highly scalable network infrastructure performance management system for proactively managing network growth through careful monitoring of traffic history and trends. Dubbed Aruba(TM), the system automatically collects and stores network usage statistics across the entire network and provides summary and detail reporting on utilization, availability, volumes, errors and trends. ADC chose to incorporate Aruba into their product offerings to round out their suite of proactive network management capabilities.
