Steve Christle, Co-Founder and President

Steve Christle is responsible for managing Valencia's product marketing activities and directing business development. He has more than 30 years of experience developing software for networking products, both in engineering and product marketing roles. Prior to founding Valencia Systems in June 1997, Mr. Christle was Director of Product Marketing for Network Management Products at Sync Research. While at Sync Research, he was responsible for the strategic direction of new product lines and the management of network management product development. He was also Director of Software Engineering and Manager of the Access Products Group at Sync Research. Mr. Christle has also held software engineering positions at Amdahl Communications and Hughes Aircraft Company. He majored in Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine.

John Tracy, Co-Founder, Vice President of Engineering, and Chairman

John Tracy is responsible for the overall direction of Valencia's product development organization. He brings more than 20 years of experience architecting, developing, and supporting networking products for large enterprise networks to Valencia Systems. Prior to founding Valencia Systems, Mr. Tracy was a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, and Account Manager at Sync Research. While at Sync Research, he was responsible for managing the company's largest accounts. Mr. Tracy holds a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.
